What Is RVibrake Shadow?

A. RVibrake Shadow is the easiest-to-install fully installed braking system on the market. The law requires that a tow vehicle have a braking system when RV towing a car with a Tow Bar or A-Frame system. 

Most installed braking systems rely on antiquated technology, which makes for an expensive and time-consuming installation. In fact, most have to be installed by trained professionals (adding hundreds to your install costs). Many of our competitors' systems are not truly proportional, relying on pendulums or mercury switches to trigger a braking event.

By contrast, RVibrake Shadow was designed to be installed by the end user, at home - no expensive install required. If you can change your own oil, then you can install Shadow. Typical installation for a non-professional takes about 2 hours. Additionally, RVibrake Shadow is truly proportional because it uses an accelerometer to measure inertia & braking (just like RVibrake3).
